Festivity

You can tell from the opening notes that this is going to be good!  The Welsh hymn tune "Hyfrydol" underlies this throughout, providing a rich source of melodic and harmonic material upon which to base the work.  Brilliant trumpet figures, noble horn melodies, and invigorating percussion are just some of what make this a fine opener for any concert program.  It's first-rate writing for developing bands!
