389 Chorales

This edition contains all the chorales by Johann Sebastian Bach with and without obbligato instruments and presented with the original German text. Most come from Bach's cantatas, passions, oratorios, and motets. The only source for the rest was the edition of four-part chorale hymns published by Carl Philip Emanuel Bach during the years 1784-1787. The chorales are listed alphabetically after the melody. The obbligato instruments were transposed whenever necessary and consolidated on two staves to facilitate reading.
