The lyrics (by Edmund Sears) beautifully describe the celestial appearance of the angels (Luke 2:13-14). Each verse, which speaks of the peace the Christ Child will bring, concludes with a bonus chorus which allows the angels to sing glory to God! The anthem is medium advanced (an involved piano part!) and scored for SATB (SSATB in some places). A Synthesizer part (String Reduction) is also available.
