A Yuletide Celebration was commissioned by the United States Air Force Band Percussion Section for the band’s holiday chamber ensemble album, which was released in the winter of 2014. The arrangement draws from two of the composer's earlier Christmas percussion arrangements, A Winter Postlude for marimba quartet and Deck the Halls for solo marimba and djembe.
