Publisher Desc.  Trombone and Piano:  This piece contains two contrasting movements (slow-fast).  The Adagio is very romantic with beautiful, expressive melodic passages.  The Scherzo is light, energetic, and tuneful in a brisk 6/8 meter.  This piece is fun to play for the advanced trombonist and enjoyable for the audience.  The accompaniment uses romantic and impressionistic harmonies along with contemporary rhythms.  Range: low Eb to high C.
