Even the youngest of players will sound confident and assertive with this beginning band work that's strong from start to finish. Set in C minor, the rhythms are no more difficult than two repeated eighth notes highlighted with biting dissonances and angular interjections in the flowing main theme. A distinct work of drama not usually found at this level.
