Adoramus Te, Christe (Flute & Piano)

Theodore Dubois & Theodore Baker / Carol Troutman Wiggins - Carol Troutman Wiggins
Publisher Desc.  "Adoramus Te, Christe" or Christ, we do all adore Thee is the final movement from "Les sept paroles du Christ" or The Seven Last Words of Christ, an oratorio written in 1867 by Theodore Dubois. The text is very old, taken from the Roman Catholic liturgy: "Adoramus te, Christe, et benedicimus tibi: Quia per Crucem tuam redemisti mundum." Written for flute, but may easily be used for any C solo instrument. Easy flute part, great for beginners. Late Intermediate level accompaniment. Excellent for preludes, offertories, or solos/duets. Some original material laced with the traditional hymn. Chords included for additional instruments, if desired. Text included.
