This well-known method book is a compilation of techniques used in funk and fusion drumming including hi-hat patterns, fill patterns, solos and transcriptions of some of the most famous funk grooves.  The book includes two CD's containing all of the patterns, transcriptions and solos performed by the author.  The DVD contains both videos "Advanced Funk Drumming" and "Contemporary Drumset Techniques," as well as live band performances and interviews with Louie Bellson and Ed Shaughnessy.
