Ingeniously taking Bach's Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring and combining the well-known text from Come, Thou Long-Expected Jesus, Tom Fettke has arranged a fresh and tasteful Advent anthem that will add a touch of elegance to any worship service. Rich, soft choral harmonies are supported by a lovely accompaniment for keyboard or a chamber orchestra, while the delicate oboe obbligato effectively enhances the reverence of the work.
