Adventures In Music Listening has been developed to aid teachers in helping their students to listen to music more effectively and to provide a more varied and rich learning experience. The student workbook provides activities such as coloring, identifying sections of the musical form, and identifying families of instruments. The teacher's guide contains lesson plans for each of the 29 musical selections, including historical information, composer biographical information, a musical features sketch, cross-curricular connections, anticipated outcomes and national standards.
