This is a truly original, contemporary work for advanced strings. Maintaining a slow tempo throughout, the composer highlights the rich sonorities of the viola section, while infusing contrapuntal harmonic motion throughout the parts. Performed by various Regional orchestras, this is a welcome addition to the repertoire at this level!
