Alborada Del Gracioso

Originally composed for the Santa Clara Vanguard percussion ensemble, Ravel's musical effects have been preserved with a variety of mallet changes, sound effects and timbre changes.  Written for nine percussionists using the following instrumentation: bells; xylophone; two vibraphones; three marimba; five timpani; various cymbals; bass drum; tam tam; crotales and snare drum.  A true challenge for the advanced ensemble.
