All Praise to Thee, Eternal Lord
An arrangement of the popular 15th-century carol Puer Nobis. From a quiet beginning that builds in volume and texture through the first four stanzas, it moves into a bold fifth stanza that shifts from triple meter into an accented duple that climaxes on the words "we sing our thanks in ceaseless praise." It then begins a rather nicely elongated return to a quiet conclusion ending with the last sixteen bars hummed very quietly.
