Written in the style of Native American music, this piece makes use of the combination of flute and drum to create the opening mood before moving into a modal woodwind ensemble section.  The ensuing full band section continues the engaging modal harmonies in combination with rhythmic percussion writing before ending with a recap of the opening flute/drum motive.  Captivating!
