String students with just basic skills can perform these two contrasting movements from Elgar's Six Easy Pieces, Opus 22. All sections of the string orchestra have a chance to play both the interesting melodies and lush harmonic accompaniments. While playable by beginners, students with more advanced skills will find this a rewarding piece.
