Brillante Level A is to be used with children ages 4-7, while Animato Level A is to be used with children ages 8-11. Level B covers notes on the grand staff, intervals on the staff and keyboard, rhythm up to dotted quarter with eighth, half steps and whole steps, five-finger patterns and tonic chords. Concepts in Level C include the introduction to meter, order of sharps and flats, key signatures B, F, C, G, D, A, major and minor five-finger patterns, tonic chords on the staff, rhythmic dictation, and composition.
