Written as a sequel to the popular beginning band composition, Caravan, Arabian Quest is perfect for introducing your second year players to chromatics. Melodies in this composition are based on elements of the Arabian Scale (Egyptian mode) and all parts stay within the range of the concert Bb scale. All sections get to play the melody and percussionists will enjoy the variety of instruments included in their scoring including timpani, tenor drum, gong, suspended cymbal, crash cymbal, tambourine, and finger cymbals.
