A dark cloud settles over the festivities of the grand opening of the new public library upon the arrival of Roger Thesaurus and the reference materials. They are devastated that the Power Macs have taken over their jobs!  Maggie Zene and others try to lift their spirits, but in the end, it is the rascally internet "viruses" that save the day! Janet Gardner's delightful musical blends humor and soap opera to send the message that all of us are important and must work together for the common good. The dialogue is clever and the lyrics are set to songs based on classical themes by Liszt, Brahms, Rossini, and Grieg, to name a few. Students will love playing the parts of the library materials, bookworms, students, and internet viruses. The activities book contains exciting additional material, such as lessons, games, and activities to accompany each composer and the music learned and performed in this musical.
