This is very well written!  With skillful craftsmanship, David Gillingham offers you an opportunity to program a work that captures the serenity and beauty of daybreak.  From the opening thin layers of sound, a broad, sweeping feel emerges, sprinkled with active lines depicting nature awakening.  Developing bands will learn much from performing this work, and will most certainly grow musically.  Lovely!
