Mined from eroded lava beds in the Brazilian plateaus, Brazilian Agate is a rich, deep, naturally colorful material that polishes beautifully.  Agate incorporates the widest range of colors, varying from clear to brown to fire red to multi-colored stones, with multi-layered bands of reds, brown, and yellows being the most common.
