Publisher Desc.  This medium-easy composition for Concert Band can be performed successfully with a minimal ensemble. It is an enjoyable piece, with a catchy, memorable tune and pleasant sounds suggestive of horses enthusiastically trotting along the trail or out on the ranch. �Back in the Saddle� was commissioned by and written for the Dos Palos High School Bronco Band, Dos Palos, California, under the direction of Mr. Keston Finney, in commemoration of the exciting return of the Instrumental Music Program which had been disbanded and eliminated for several years. The newly reformed ensemble premiered �Back in the Saddle� in their first Winter concert after regrouping.
