Bells of the Christmas Tree City is a fun and lively holiday compilation that is inspired by the holiday season from my hometown. Jingle Bells, Carol of the Bells and church bells can be heard throughout this piece. The church bells could be heard all throughout our small city and during the holidays the downtown was booming with holiday carols and parades. This piece only uses the first 6 notes learned in most beginning band method books and challenges students with eight note rhythms, various articulations, dynamics and quick rests.
