This exciting work by Brian Balmages is a strong choice for any concert program!  Opening with a quick, pulsating 6/8 tempo, interesting harmonies and chord changes add to the colorful, appealing character.  For contrast, the piece changes to a 4/4 meter with beautiful scoring featuring plenty of  solo spots.  This is very well-written, and captures the essence of each instrument extremely well.
