These 26 advanced single-string jazz studies composed for guitar are ideal for teaching swing style and improving sight-reading skills. The tonal range for this collection is a D on the fourth string to an occasional high F on the first string, 13th fret. These are ideal for weekly or biweekly playing tests. These may be played with a pick or finger-picked. These studies have been tested repeatedly with advanced high school students.
