A group of wary campers tiptoe, one by one, down a bush-track on which black snakes are warming themselves in the sun. From high above in a eucalypt tree, a kookaburra, untroubled by snakes, laughs at them. Young bands will relish invoking the dangerous tone of this true tale, and enjoy the challenge of playing the kookaburra's theme in 5/4 time. Dedicated to the intrepid students and parents from Leichhardt Public School who made it safely there and back again!
