Scored for unaccompanied mixed voices, this collection of ten compelling works is a celebration of some of today's most inspirational contemporary women composers. Featuring an eclectic mix of styles and colors, the pieces range from settings of hymnlike simplicity to works featuring theatrical body percussion and close harmony. Secular and sacred texts from across the centuries are given new life. Many of the pieces may be performed individually.
