One of a number of short motets written by Italian composer Claudio Monteverdi, this was originally scored for six voices. Now SSA choirs can enjoy this Late Renaissance - Early Baroque a cappella work, carefully weaving selected vocal lines from the original to create a stylistically authentic sound.
