This lush, neo-Romantic original is an ideal choice for the advancing string group looking for contemporary music.  Set in G minor, the works gives everyone a beautiful part to play.  It's a new work firmly grounded in the Russian tradition of sonorous, bittersweet melodies.  Very nice!
