From the 1995 movie "Casper," this absolutely beautiful ballad will express the full musicality of your entire percussion ensemble. Written for a large group of 11 to 12 performers, the music presents some very different and unique percussive sounds while also incorporating piano and soprano voices to create a mysterious musical blend. This very playable ensemble, with a performance time of just over four minutes, incorporates the following instruments: bells; two vibraphones; two 4-1/3 octave marimbas; optional 5-octave bass marimba; double bass; wind chimes; timpani; suspended cymbal; triangle; bass drum; piano and soprano voices. A wonderfully musical addition to your concert.
