An infectious rhythmic motive played by timpani opens this striking composition and appears again later, performed as a fanfare by the entire band. A quote from the hymn This Is My Father's World  is then used in the first section while the middle section consists of original music of a very passionate nature. A recap then brings the piece to a joyous and inspiring finish.
