With a nice groove and a catchy theme, Chromatically Yours is a relaxed, minor blues rock chart full of chromatic lines and fills that will help students to practice the art of including chromatic lines into their playing. The ensemble writing is superb, and the optional open solos are readily accessible over the two chord changes giving developing soloists an opportunity to develop confidence. Suggested solos and chord changes are written into the alto 1, trumpet 2 and trombone 1 parts. An optional flute part is included as well. An effective call and response ensemble section between the brass and saxes brings it to an exciting conclusion.
