This anthem begins with a warm and inviting a cappella section for the setting of the text from Matthew, "Come unto me you who are heavy laden, and I will give you rest." There are lovely vocal lines and some easy dissonance that lingers before resolution. The piano part is minimal at times but provides a flowing transition to the middle section, "Take my yoke upon you." The anthem was commissioned and premiered by Mark Pope and the University Park United Methodist Church, Dallas, Texas.
