Concerto grosso a quattro Chori
Publisher Desc.
Arranged for Wind Symphony this Baroque era piece of four wind choirs contains many canonic elements. Originally scored for strings and winds, this scoring uses a full clarinet choir including bass and contra-bass clarinets not available at the time. Retained are the two harpsichord parts and string bass. The two brass choirs can be antiphonally placed to emphasize the Baroque stereo effects. Very enjoyable and challenging to perform for advanced ensembles. Oversize 11 x 17 score.
