This mallet sextet brings to life the harpsichord music of the Baroque era throughout the short two and a half minute compositions.  Mallet instruments have much in common with the attack and decay properties of harpsichords, making arrangements such as this a natural choice.  Scored for bells, xylophone, vibraphone, two 4 octave marimbas and one 4.3 octave marimba.  Two performers can share the 4.3 octave marimba, if instruments are limited.  The piece comes with a full, bound score which includes a CD-Rom containing an audio recording and all individual parts available for printing.
