Level One moves the student from the elementary to the late elementary level.  It starts with a short review of the music reading concepts covered in the Primer Level.  Pieces in Level One start in C Major position. The student is taught more advanced left hand accompaniments using harmonic 2nds and 5ths. New pieces are presented in F and G Major positions. Eighth notes, eighth rests, and the damper pedal are also introduced.
