Deciding to Climb
Publisher Desc.
The tempo of this composition is Medium up, and is Latin Jazz with a Brazilian feel. The changes are challenging two five combinations and the line is difficult. The tune really takes off when you execute the line with the harmony and bass line. The introduction has two parts and is rather modern in sound. The letter A material takes off right away, and begins to develop a story of great interest melodically speaking. You will be aware of the twists and turns that the head takes on -- just stay with it and it will be very rewarding. The harmony in the head is intricate and should be performed with skill. Make certain you honor the hold at the end of the E section.
