Dixit Dominus was originally composed for SSAA voices and small orchestra. Russell Robinson has made it accessible to SSA voices, in a lower key, with a playable piano reduction. This you can use for teaching independent singing, pure vowel production and full, supportive vocal sound. The performance notes give interesting background on the composer, who wrote many works for a girls' choir at the conservatory in Venice during the eighteenth century.
