This is incredibly good!  Unquestionably destined to become a "standard" in the literature for the Christmas season, this will also find its way onto many contest lists as well.  Beginning with a quiet unison setting of this famous theme from centuries past that is the essence of simplicity, this continually builds in rhythmic complexity, harmonic complexity and volume, yet always remains very playable and rewarding.  An excellent selection!
