"Authentic" is the word for this! It features two reels from County Donegal, The Boys of Malin and The Gravel Walks, both of which are played often in Ireland. The style is brisk and exciting. All the players get great parts, from the basses imitating the Irish hand drum to cello and viola features in the first tune, to the violins playing in unison or octaves, racing to the end. Performed separately or as a set, it's a terrific opener or encore number! Highly recommended!
