This is a setting for brass quintet of the hymn tune Dove of Peace, an
American folk melody that was originally known by the title Land of Rest. It
first appeared as a hymn tune in William Walker's compilation Southern
Harmony in 1835. It has been used to set many hymn texts over the years,
including How Sweet the Name of Jesus Sounds, Forgive Our Sins as We Forgive,
and O Tell Me Where the Dove has Flown. But today it is most commonly
associated with Brian Wren's 1968 Eucharist text I Come with Joy. Grade 4 -
