Publisher Desc.  Eight Bursts of Rage was composed in December, 2017. It is comprised of eight short episodes, approximately four bars each, which are fierce and fiery in character. Its atonality and exploitation of extended techniques define it as a contemporary work of the 21st Century. This composition for flute solo with piano accompaniment is an excellent piece for flute students at the intermediate level as they continue developing the fundamental elements of music including dynamics and articulation, while exploring new possibilities on their instrument.
