Publisher Desc.  Elevation is a piano piece in the style of Einaudi. The title was inspired by the events leading up to the rescue of the Chilean miners in 2010 and is being re-released on the 10th anniversary of the accident. It is a reflective piece rather than a triumphant one and is suitable for players of intermediate standard, particularly those with good articulation technique. It works well as a solo piece in a program of classical music and has also been used by a contact of mine who wanted to use it as background music for a warming down exercise after a dance session.
