It's the holiday season at the North Pole, and Elfis the Elf is singin' and swingin' in style! Santa Claus finds a band for Elfis, and together they are known as "Elfis and the Sleigh Riders." Unfortunately, the members of the band get into an argument over who is going to sing a solo, and the band splits up. Though the reindeer and even Santa Claus are unable to help the band reconcile, Elfis at last intervenes with a reminder of the importance of friendship and communication, and the band happily reunites. The five original songs include Uh-Huh-Huh, Ev'rybody's Goin' on a Sleigh Ride, So Sad at Santa's Pad, Are You Lonesome and Blue and North Pole Rock 'N' Roll. Four versions of the musical on the CD provide maximum flexibility for rehearsals and performances. Though the musical is a sequel to The Elves' Impersonator, it can be performed independently or together. Use the performance kit, which contains the teacher's handbook, ten singer's editions, and the CD, to save money. Grades K-4.
