An introduction in 3/4 time featuring dynamic contrasts gives way to a sprightly dance in 2/4. Many of the harmonies throughout are in thirds, a good opportunity to encourage listening and intonation. There are many good teaching opportunities in this arrangement for learning about D.S. al Coda, and learning how to start a new phrase after a fermata. A good choice for recitals or festivals as well.
