The composition Excellentia was written for brass choir and percussion, and was inspired by Psalm 8:9 (NKJV) - "O LORD, our lord, How excellent is your name in all the earth!" The word "excellentia" is Latin for excellence. Excellentia is dedicated to my family, friends, teachers, and the thousands of students who have influenced, inspired, and enriched my life.
