This sequential program for K-5 students connects music literacy and online digital assessments. Musical concepts covered include: counting; moving from representative icons to standard notation; keeping individual time; recognizing and tuning pitches; identifying and performing intervals; triad recognition; performing all types of notes and rests (up to eighth) including dotted rhythms; singing melodic lines; developing sight-reading skills; understanding and interpreting tempo marks; performing rhythmic and melodic duets; differentiating time signatures; finding and keeping track of the tonic note; and locating and performing individual parts in a duet.
