Set in 10/8 meter with a brisk tempo and peppered with martellatos, mart-lifts, and stacatto mallet markings, the music lopes along for thirty measures before it settles into a 4/4 section that flows with Lv'd eighth-note accompaniment. This only lasts so long before the energy returns. Sixty-one measures.
