Fanfare of Thanks

This festive proclamation pairs two traditional hymns, Now Thank We All Our God and Rejoice, the Lord is King. First, the traditional text is presented with a new melody including a four-measure melismatic "rejoice" (echoing DARWALL). Bits of both traditional tunes are masterfully interwoven during the last half of the piece, culminating in a grand statement of gratitude. The trumpet (included) adds a festal touch.
