Singing bell and flute (or C-instrument) solo introduction sets the tone which leads into chords featuring close harmonies that support the simple melody, augmented by passing tones and gentle variations in rhythm. There are a few stopped sounds, echoes and more — plus melody in handchimes (3 octaves), all perfectly placed for maximum effect. Addition of optional body percussion, windchimes and rainstick, which are included on the handbell score, is the icing on this musical cake. This luscious arrangement will be fulfilling to ring and inspirational to listeners.
