Here's a standard 12-bar blues in D that's fun to play!  It also gets them playing swing eighth notes at an early point in their playing.  There's even some basic "call and response" that will really get them listening to each other and enjoying themselves.  By playing the articulations as written,  and "swinging" the eighth notes, this blues will be good news!
